I hadn’t taken a road trip in years, and so, it was time. I headed to Montana a state I had never been before. The trip was non-stop to Glacier National Park via Yellowstone. I could not pass through Yellowstone without taking a couple classic shots of Old Faithful. The rest of the images are of Glacier on the Road To The Sun, or the roads in between.
It was a break to do B&W photos. The tones of black, white and grays were great to see again. How I miss the days of the darkroom and printing B&W. The old days . . . with the smell of developer and stop-bath that provided comfort in the dark room warmed by the glow of the red safety-light. B&W sure provides the image with a wonderful simplicity and yet at the same time, a more complex image
